Yesterday afternoon at the Atlas Points art installations show, part of the MusicNOW Festival.
Why yes, I do like glitter on my desserts!
Eat Well creates some of the best food around town and I was very excited to see that they were the ones catering the first day of the Music NOW festival. I can’t remember exactly what this tasty, fancy looking sweet was — I want to say it had to do with fudge. I had to go for an oatmeal cookie as my treat, though it is hard to maintain control when you know that everything they make is undoubtedly delicious!
When in doubt of what to do with your life, get barbecue. Always get barbecue.

Digging through some older pictures, I uncovered some lost jems. In mid-November 2011, Natalie and I ventured up to Columbus for the day to attend Ohio’s 2nd Annual Beard & Mustache Festival and Competition. We had a great time spending the first part of the day walking around North High Street. One of the places we stopped by (one where I remembered to snap some pictures) was Flower Child Vintage. Mandatory stops were also made at North Market and Jeni’s Splendid Ice Cream, however I have no photographic evidence of these things … you’ll just have to take my word for it. :)
I absolutely did not get to see enough of Columbus. A born & raised Ohioan who has spent too little time, hardly any to speak of, in a truly great city and the capital of my home state.
