Pretty Pretty Princess Bride getting her ‘lash on.

This is sort of another peek at the wedding, but not really. :)This is just a picture of me and The Girls (as we’re referred to by all of our parents).  We’re the Fernshire Court Girls to be more exact.  We all grew up together on one cul-de-sac street and did everything together.  We went to preschool together, we went to some dance classes together, we had a club we called The Everything Club (inventive, right?) in my dad’s old barn, and more that I could list but I’ll refrain.  We went through different “phases” together of things that we liked: Hocus Pocus, Clueless, Harriet the Spy, and, our main one, the Spice Girls.I’m on the far left, then comes Stacey, Carlie, Hillary, and Rachel.  It was such a thrill to be at such a long-time friend’s wedding, let alone to be the photographer.  And to be the photographer was so amazing to me.  I mean, c’mon, I’m the one capturing this day??  Surreal in a way.  There’s a photo of Stacey and I in my playpen for my 1st birthday.  I remember the pale green, ruffly dress I wore to Carlie’s 3rd (or 4th?) birthday at which some adult was terrifyingly dressed up as a clown.  Now we are all so grown.  Surreal to look back at it all today.  My childhood feels like a dream (a fantastic one) and it’s all to these ladies + two more who couldn’t make it.The pressure I felt to capture this day was equal to the privilege.

Sneak peek of a wedding I shot a couple weeks ago.  LOVE this field!  Didn’t hurt that I had a lovely bride (and friend since the age of three) to work with!So so busy these days with two jobs equaling full time+more and many other things in life, but I don’t think I would have it any other way!  …well more sleep would be nice :) but that’s about it.
