Tomorrow morning these two will be wed. It has been wonderful to shoot their engagement photos (this is only from the first session at a breakfast diner, still need to go through the second) and I cannot wait for the honour of capturing the day that they join forever in union.
Congratulations Alex & Cory!!! Hope all of us get plenty of rest tonight for tomorrow is an early day.
Alexandra & Cory // Engaged
A few shots from Alex & Cory’s engagement session before I shoot their wedding tomorrow!! More on Flickr.
After taking so many pictures of others, I realized the only photo taken of me that weekend (to my knowledge) was snapped by my photog friend Amy!

I’m excited to share the pictures I took for this year’s Bunbury Music Festival. The heat was exhausting, but I still had a blast seeing a lot of my favourite bands, most I had never seen perform before. You can find the full sets of all three days on The Blue Indian, but below is a little sample!

Tacos and a margarita after a long day. Super busy, woke up at 7am and going all day, but so thankful that it was a day full of making things happen for myself and in a direction I have wanted to go for a while.
This alone is greater than the year and a half I spent lost in a sea of cubicles and had to log my every move. Though I’m still wondering how I’m going to pay all my bills and feed myself at the moment, but, you know, I’m not totally broke and God is providing in unexpected ways. “Look at the birds of the air; your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?”
Work hard. Have faith. Go after what you want. Life is too short. And whatever cliché, but true, statements.
